The problem with trees was they were impeding light shining into her back garden. Also these same trees were causing the same problem for her neighbours.

When we arrived they were 3 beautiful Alder trees and we were slow to cut these beautiful trees down. We suggested to the woman that we would prune them. However she wanted them cut down. So we started working on the trees.

This time of year many gardens in Dublin have the same issues as this lady with their trees and hedges are overgrown and impeding light.

In the first video you can see the  garden and the three trees in question and it is quite evident that the trees are overgrown and seriously impeding light coming into her garden.
